St Giles Cross Stitch Group has been in existence since November 1996.  We meet every Tuesday (except the 3rd Tuesday of the month) in the Small Church Hall from 7.00pm to 9.00pm.

It is non-denominational open to all ages and abilities.

The fee is 50p per week.

Throughout the year we support our Church and local charities by organising fund raising events eg cheese & wine suppers, work exhibitions, raffles and sale of work.  We also have social events throughout the year eg meals out, visits to Stately Homes to name a few.

An ongoing project is the covering of the kneelers in Church with various tapestry designs funded by individual parishioners to celebrate a marriage, baptism, confirmation or in memory of a loved one.

Most of the ladies started the Cross Stitch Club having little or no experience of cross stitch at all, now they are completing some of the mot beautiful designs with skill.

We are a friendly group and warmly welcome newcomers.
