In the Parish there are a number of
Residential Homes for the Elderly that cater for the various needs of Senior
Citizens.
They range from Warden supervised sheltered
accommodation for those able to look after themselves, to full time, round
the clock Care Staff attendance, on those residents unable to do so.
There are short monthly services held at
most of these to which members of the church attend. These are led either by
the Clergy or Lay people, and include Hymns and Prayers.
The Carol Services each year are one
highlight and the Church Band attends where ever possible.
In addition a monthly Home Communion Rota
operates in which either a Clergy member or a lay Eucharistic Minister holds
a shortened communion service for those residents wishing to partake.
