WORSHIP

On Sundays we offer a variety of worship. The day begins with a quiet service of Holy Communion at 8 am. At 9.30 am there is another service of Holy Communion with hymns and choir. The Sunday school children leave this service shortly after the start for their own activities. We now have an All Age service at 11.15 am where the worship is of a more relaxed nature.

Coffee is served after the 8.00 am service and between the 9.30 am and 11.15 am services. In the evening at 5.30 pm there is a service of hymns and prayers. During the week there are a variety of other services.

OTHER ACTIVITIES

The Christian life is more than just meeting in Church. At St Giles all sorts of other activities take place. During the week there are house groups and a fellowship group. There are two Youth Groups, a Cross Stitch group and a Drama Group. There is a Church Band and a group of Bell Ringers. The Mothers' Union meet regularly and often have coffee mornings and visiting speakers. There are groups for Parent and Toddlers and a group called ‘Silver Threads’ that meets for those in their retirement.
