For
hundreds of years couples from the local community have begun their married life
by exchanging vows at St Giles church. It is a ministry we rejoice in and would
encourage all couples to begin life together with the support and blessing of
God.
From a legal point of view at least one of the parties to the marriage must live in the parish and where there is any doubt it is important to contact the Vicar in the first instance.

The first step is to call-in at the Parish Office, in the Vicarage, on most Tuesday evenings between 6.30pm and 7.30pm. There all necessary personal details are taken and the date and time of the Wedding recorded, being secured with a £25 booking fee, cash or cheque. |
